EZCaster and "SMART" online software FEATURES

 

Auto Publish

When you select to record or record and broadcast Live your video, the video is recorded to the video hard drive in the encoder. When you are done recording, press “Stop” on the encoder, then the Auto Publish screen will appear. You can then touch “Yes” or “No”  to “Auto Publish”. If you press "Yes”, the video is uploaded / transferred from the encoder to one of Tech Werks Broadcast Centers. When the video has been successfully transferred, the encoder sends Tech Werks “SMART” on-line management software, all the video information pretending to the video that was just transferred. The “SMART” software then updates, your HTML/web page, your RSS feed, sends an e-mail (up to 4 e-mail address) and it can “Post” a Script to your web server.


Webinar - option

On any On-demand or Live presentation, you can select to capture the viewers name, e-mail and phone number before they watch the presentation. You can also select “Ask a question”. If you are doing a Live presentation, each viewer will have an “Ask the presenter a question” window on their computer. The presenter, using a computer, has a window showing the names of everyone watching and any questions the viewers submit. If the presentation is On-demand, the viewer will still have an “Ask a question window” but the question is e-mailed to administrator of your webinars.


EZPresenter
- option

You can ZIP upload multiple images (jpeg, bmp or png) OR upload entire Powerpoint Presentation. You can do a LIVE or on-demand presentation with the video in the upper left corner of the screen, bottom left, you can select an "ask it" box, you can upload an image or enter an URL, the right side of the screen is where all images/slides will be displayed. During the presentation, the presenter can select a thumbnail view of all his images/slides and by click on anyone of the images/slides the image/slide will change on the viewers computer. You can even select to use high resolution images (1024x 768) and display them on any computer/ large screen video projector.


Pay-Per-View - option

Any On-demand or Live presentation can be a pay-per-view event. You process the order, after receiving payment, your system automatically sends Tech Werks, your customer’s information and the video ID. Tech Werks then automatically sends your customer an e-mail with a “Video Ticket”. You customer clicks on the “Video Ticket” to watch the presentation. HTML Pages with Categories

Tech Werks, generates an HTML page for each client. This HTML page is costomizable, colors and fonts. This page can be inserted into any web page, using a simple Iframe script. You can also add categorys to your HTML page. Using categories, allows you to generate HTML pages, displaying only that category. READ MORE


Password Protection

You can set an individual password for each On-demand or Live presentation. You can change these passwords whenever you want. The viewer only has to type in the password one time or until you change the password.


Auto Stop


When you enable the “Auto Stop” feature, it automatically stops recording and/or stops broadcasting Live. You can set “Auto Stop” to STOP after recoding and/or broadcasting from 1 minute to 24 hours. You can also enable or disable “Auto Publish” after “Auto Stop” stops the recording and/or live broadcasting, The “Auto Publish” feature automatically publishes your video . When you press “Start” you will see the duration of your broadcast/recoding and you will get a countdown to the “Auto Stop” time.


Auto Start

Using the "SMART" on-line software, you can enable "Auto Start", you also enter the time of day the EZCaster will start. When the EZCaster is turned on or you "download new setting" Auto Start will be enabled. The front of the EZCaster will display "Auto Start Enabled" with the time of day the EZCaster will start.


Remote Control

You can login to your "SMART" on-line account where there is a graphical interface to control your EZCaster. The EZCaster can be located anywhere in the world, it only has to be connected to the Internet. You can STOP, START, AUTO-PUBLISH and DOWNLOAD NEW SETTINGS remotely.


Auto Graphics

Auto Graphics, gives you capability to produce LIVE and On-demand videos with graphics. These graphics can be full frame, name "super" or a simple logo. You can set a transition rate for the dissolve speed to dissolve the graphics on and off. Using the “SMART” On-line management software you upload graphics to one of Tech Werks servers. After you have uploaded all the graphics, you can build a “Graphic Play List”. In the play list, you can specify a time-duration the graphic will be “ON-AIR”. If you enter a time-duration of “0” the graphic will remain “ON-AIR” until you touch the “NEXT GRAPHIC” button on the front of the Touch Screen encoder. When you turn on the encoder or touch “update new settings” the Touch Screen encoder automatically down loads the graphic files and the graphic play list.


Graphic Overlay

The touch Screen encoder allows you to insert a graphic over the video. This can be used to insert a “bug”/logo. This is used by all the major television networks. In the bottom corner, they insert their network logo. You can do the same thing. Use your company logo and insert it over your video. This brands your video. The Touch Screen encoder can use PGN, BMP or Jpeg files. The Touch Screen encoder can “key” out one color and let the video through. Put your logo on any color, like red, then when you go to Logo Setup in the Touch Screen encoder, you can select red and all the red will disappear and the video will appear where the red was. You can also change the transparency of your logo. All you have to do is touch and slide the transparency slide bar.


Built-in Waveform Monitor

You can select “Setup Video” and the Touch Screen encoder displays the video and a waveform monitor. You can use a slider bar and select any line of the video to be displayed on the waveform. Using the waveform, you can adjust Contrast, Brightest, Color level and Hue/Tint.

 

 


On-Screen Keyboard

Anytime you select an option that requires the use of a keyboard, an on-screen keyboard appears. This enables you make changes without have an external keyboard.

 

 


Instant Profile Changes

If you need to change your compression profile, just call or e-mail Tech Werks support team and they can instantly change all of your compression parameters. For example you might want to change your audio compression from mono to stereo. Just call us and let us make the change for you. You don’t have to read a manual or spend hours trying to figure it out.


Multiple Audio Inputs

The Touch Screen encoder has several inputs.

Left and Right line level - unity gain input. Unity gain input has no level adjustment on the encoder. This is designed to be used with an external audio mixer and the audio person does not want the encoder operator to adjust his levels.

Left and Right line level input. This input is designed to be used with an external audio mixer or any other line level audio source. Input level can be adjusted by the encoder.
Mike level input.  This input is designed to be used with an external microphone. Input level can be adjusted by the encoder.


Compatible With Any Standard Definition Video

The encoder accepts NTSC, PAL and SECAM video. You can use a simple Camcorder that you can buy at any electronic store or the output of a professional TV control room.


External Devices

You can add just a mouse, a keyboard or an external monitor to the Touch Screen encoder or any combination.


FILE SHARING

The Touch Screen encoder has the ability to “Share” the video hard drive on your network. If you select to enable this “Share” feature, then any computer on the same network as the Touch Screen encoder has access to the videos on the encoder. This gives you the ability to copy or move files to and from the encoder hard drive. You can then use your computer to make a CD or DVD. You can also move video files to your own network drives for archiving.
