Pay-per-View or PPV is a feature that secures a video so it cannot be watched unless a viewer has been issued a video ticket. You setup an on-line store, process the order, collect the money and Tech Werks does the rest.
To make any On-demand video a PPV, from the "SMART" on-line software, select "VIDEO". You will see a list of all your videos. Select "EDIT" for the video you want to make PPV. Next CHECK "PPV".
Directly below the "PPV" check box, is a 32 character code. This is the video ID.
In the box below the video ID, you must enter a URL/web page, where you want your customers to go, if they do not have a video ticket. Normally, this is your "Buy It Now" page for this video.
After you have enabled PPV and entered a URL/web page, you MUST click "Update Video" before you can send any video tickets.
1. On your web site, you create an on-line "store".
2. You run this store like any other on-line store with a cart and check out area.
3. After you run your customers credit card, and it is approved, you normally send your customer to a "THANK YOU" page, on this page, you have to "POST" the following to Tech Werks.Any web programmer can set this up.

When Tech Werks receives this information, an e-mail will be mailed to your customer, with a Video Ticket. To watch your PPV video, your customer just clicks on the link in the email. when they do, the video ticket can ONLY be used on that computer.
To manually send a Video Ticket, enter the e-mail and first name of the person you want to send the Video Ticket to, click "SEND VIDEO TICKET". This is a good way to test your PPV, and for your customer service department to send a Video Ticket if your customer deletes the e-mail.

1. Number of video tickets issued, is updated, only when the page is loaded.

Live PPV is access with "Live Options" from the Dashboard. Click in the PPV check box. You will see all the same options as On-demand, plus you HAVE to enter a LIVE Title and you have to click on "Create Live ID". a Live ID will then be displayed in the box below LIVE Title. This ID is the same as On-Demand "video ID". the difference is, you can change the LIVE title at any time.
The reason you have to click "Create Live ID" manually, is so you can create multi Live IDs at one time. you can use these Live IDs to sell multiple Live events. You can then Pre-sell each Live event.
Example; you have a Live event, Jan 1, Jan 2, Jan 3. Enter Jan 1 in LIVE Title, click "Create Live ID". Copy the ID. Use this code to sell Jan 1 Live event. Enter Jan 2 in Live Title, click "Create Live ID". Copy the ID and use that to sell Jan 2 and the same for Jan 3. Then, on Jan1 before your LIVE Event, select PPV, enter the SAME Live title as you did when you created the video ID for the pre-sell, click "Create Live ID. CHECK to make video ID against the video ID you used to pre-sell the event. These must be the same. Then Click "update Live Options.
